Privacy Policy
How Phenix Ops handles information on phenixops.com. Plain English. No surprise street address. Engagements under a signed agreement are covered separately.
1. Who this covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Phenix Ops LLC ("Phenix Ops," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use phenixops.com and related pages (the "Site"). It also covers purchases you make through the Site.
Consulting engagements, on-site work, and other services under a signed agreement are governed by that agreement and any privacy terms in it. This policy is about the Site.
Phenix Ops is based in Chandler, AZ. Principal: Rosie Marshall. Contact: ops@phenixops.com or (480) 256-9545.
2. Information you give us
You may provide:
- Name, business name, email, phone, and message content when you contact us or book a discovery.
- Billing and order details when you purchase a session, package, or digital product.
- Materials you choose to share for a paid session (reports, exports, screens). Share only what you are allowed to share. Do not send payment card numbers, government IDs, or protected health information.
3. Payment information
Payments on the Site are processed by Square. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Square collects and processes card data under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may receive and keep order and transaction records such as your name, billing email, items purchased, amount, date, card brand, last four digits, and payment status (succeeded, failed, refunded, disputed). We use that to fulfill orders, support you, handle refunds and chargebacks, prevent fraud, and meet tax and accounting duties.
Square's privacy information is available at squareup.com.
4. Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we and our providers may automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, and operating system.
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referral source, and campaign tags in the URL.
- Date and time of visits, and basic usage metrics.
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-T563ZEQ0Y1) to understand how the Site is used. Google may process this data under its own policies. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, and similar tools for:
- Necessary functions (security, checkout, remembering preferences).
- Analytics (understanding traffic and Site performance).
- Measurement related to ads or campaigns, if active.
You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may break checkout or access to purchased content. Industry opt-out tools include optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for that browser, where those laws apply.
6. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Respond to inquiries, book discovery calls, and deliver purchases.
- Process payments, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Send transactional messages about orders or sessions you requested.
- Analyze Site performance and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not use Site data to provide licensed legal, tax, accounting, or medical advice.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and business, such as Square (payments), Google (analytics and calendar booking), email and hosting providers, and similar processors under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Legal and safety when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of the business.
- With your direction when you ask us to share something with a third party.
Under some state laws, use of advertising or analytics tools may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information even when no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in Sections 5 and 8.
8. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Update or correct contact details by emailing us.
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request deletion or correction where applicable law allows.
- Opt out of marketing emails (transactional messages about purchases or sessions still go through).
- Control cookies through your browser and the industry tools linked above.
Send privacy requests to ops@phenixops.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. California privacy notice
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Categories we may collect include identifiers (name, email, phone, IP), commercial information (purchases), and internet activity (Site usage). We collect them for the purposes in Section 6. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise rights, email ops@phenixops.com.
10. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or longer when required by law, tax rules, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course of business.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small consulting practice. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Please use strong unique passwords for any accounts you control and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access related to the Site.
12. Children
The Site is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party sites and tools
The Site may link to third-party sites and tools (for example Square checkout, Google Calendar booking, social networks). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before you share information with them.
14. U.S. processing
We operate in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., you understand that information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
15. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective / last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy. For material changes, we may also post a notice on the Site.
